- Denmark -
In numerous ways it reminded us of Canada. 7/11 stores and Best Western are common. The wild rose, a symbol of Alberta, grows wild. Great desserts and hearty food.
- The Faroe Islands -
Green meadows, no trees, fog and pitch dark single lane tunnels. Constant tempertures averaging between 6ºC in the winter
to 12ºC in the summer. For such small islands surprisingly lots of remote spots with no or little population.
